Life of Fred: Pre-Algebra 1 with Biology
by Stanley F. Schmidt, PhD Author
An unconventional math book written in story form, following the life of Fred, a five year old math professor at Kittens University. Each lesson contains a short reading assignment followed by "Your Turn to Play", a series of 3-10 questions about the reading. After every 5-8 lessons, the student has 5 tries to cross "The Bridge", which tests his knowledge of the previous lessons, followed by a final "Bridge" at the end of the book.
