We read this book almost 2 years ago when my oldest were 6 and the little guy was 3. They really enjoyed it and spent a lot of time telling their dad about it at dinner. Fast forward 2 years and we're driving through Arizona when the now 5-yr-old starts talking about what he heard from the book and specifically said, "Remember when we read about it in that cactus book. I learned it there." I was floored that it had made such an impression on him.
The pictures are beautiful and very detailed. The text is clear and descriptive. We love this book.
