The "Put On" chart Lesson Book

Does anyone in your household ever have trouble being patient? How about compassionate? Or forgiving? As much as we love the members of our own family, it seems like home is where our ability to truly love is put to the greatest test. The "Put-On Chart” and its companion study book are designed to help your family “put on” the character qualities of God’s children. Based on Colossians 3:12-14, it will lead you in studying what the Bible says about: Compassion Kindness Humility Meekness Patience Forbearance Forgiveness Love The illustrated chart associates each quality with a piece of clothing, providing object lessons that help younger children understand how they can put on this quality. Specific Bible verses and suggested actions encourage immediate application. A boy and girl paper doll are included, making the study more fun and memorable for younger children. As your family works to put on these Christian qualities, the lesson book will help you study each specific quality in more detail. Eight lessons examine what Scripture says about each quality. Studies may be read for family worship times, or as part of your regular school day. Scripture quotations are from the ESV and NKJV translations.
