Holt Science & Technology: Integrated Science: Student Edition Level Red 2008
by RINEHART AND WINSTON HOLT Author
We were given this book and two study guides free. They seemed to be aimed at late junior high / early high school ages as a good overview of life sciences and some basic chemistry, obviously from a secular perspective. I can't find an actual grade / age recommendation, but it's largely new concepts for my kids so I feel like it will be a good overview for the subject matter, along with a taste of the kinds of curricula public school kids deal with regularly. The study guides make it all fairly straightforward, inform-and-review type learning. I have no doubt going through the study guide will bring lots of topics for discussion.
