This collection of 25 short stories includes works from some of the world’s most famous authors, including “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, “The Celestial Railroad,” a retelling of Pilgrim’s Progress by Nathanial Hawthorne, and “The Red-Headed League” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. After studying each aspect of writing by reading a classic example, students are then provided ideas and a framework for creating their own short stories.
