Active Play
This is a catch all for your children being involved in active play and fitness. They could select from books what to do or participate in an activity of their choosing. Examples include jump rope, running, active outdoor games, trampoline, snowshoeing, an exercise video or program, relay, dance, sports, obstacle course, climbing, walking, gymnastics, going to a playground, timed runs, rafting, etc. Encouraging children to be physically active each day can help them develop a positive attitude toward movement, dance, sports, and other physical activity. Playing actively with children in your care can help them develop healthy habits.
