My of my favorites of Elizabeth George Speare

Reviewed by Parent/Teacher

We read this book together as a family and LOVED it! The author writes in a way that captures the readers attention and holds it. We laughed, cheered and cried while reading this book. It certainly captures your heart as you read and journey with the characters in their adventures. The writing style of Elizabeth George Speare is flowing, engaing and easy to read. This is by far my favorite of all her books. An added bonus was that during and after reading this book my husband noticed that my style of writing changed. I was encouraged to be more descriptive in my writing and thus it showed ... even in my emails to him...LOL! Captivating book. I highly recommend it!
