Six-year-old Yoomi lives with her parents and two older brothers, Jun and Yoon. Grandma, who lives nearby, loves to come over and cook yummy Korean food and teach Yoomi and teach the children Korean language and culture. Thanks to Grandma, Yoomi knows how to count from one to ten in Korean—which comes in handy when she practices taekwondo! Yoomi feels so proud to know all the words already. Yoomi is the youngest in the family, but she is determined, has strong opinions, and always wants to learn and grow.
