Butterflies and Beyond: Preparing A Young Child to Cope with Grief or Loss
by Marilyn F. Struthers Author
(From the author's daughter) My mom wrote this story from her experience with my sons as they watched caterpillars turn into butterflies. This happened at the same time that a friend of my parents died. My mom used this lesson from nature to teach my boys about the hope of resurrection. While inspiring and teaching spiritual truths, it also does an excellent job of presenting the science of metamorphosis.
