A Child's Garden of Verses

Reviewed by Parent/Teacher

This is a sweet book that has stood the test of time for many years now. As a child, I read the book myself in school, and was required to pick out one poem to memorize and resite before the entire class. THe poem I chose was, "The Swing" by Robert Louis Stevenson. To this day, I remember all the poems in this book, and the lessons I got from each one. They are simple, yet beautiful, and easy to memorize.
