Grayboy
by Kay Chorao Author
A girl, her frien Robert, and her grand parents spend a summer enjoying nature and the creatures that live in an East Coast Bay, especailly one wounded seagull they name Grayboy. We were introduced to different types of shells,, crabs,, and what happens on the shore when a very bad storms hits. The book is suspencful as Robert is out on a boat with his father when the storm hit and they were not able to make it back in time. But happily with a few scraps and bruises all is well, until they go and look for the seagull Greyboy. Sadness, for he did not survive. The children bury him in the sand and realize this is natures way. We love this book. Informational while it tugs on our hearts.
