The Tortoise and the Hare
by Maestro Classics Creator
Wearing fancy new running shoes, Hare begins the race, and soon, being far ahead, decides to stop at a small French bistro for a little onion soup. Meanwhile Tortoise, played by the contrabassoon, trudges along and proves that "Slow and steady wins the race." The classic tale is re-created for narrator and orchestra.
