Ancient Egypt Activity Book
by Robyn Hamilton Author
The activities are varied and apply to all facets of the Egyptian culture - from pyramids and royal dress to bartering in the marketplace and constructing simple Egyptian tools. No real “exotic†materials are needed (thankfully, since I’m a little busy at the moment) - just the standard paper, paste, clay and ingredients that you probably already have. Not just crafts, the book also includes writing activities, games, baking (Egyptian sourdough fig roll), and more lengthy projects. In all, 34 different activities. Each begins with a short, interesting historical note about the ancient Egyptians, followed by the project, materials list, and directions. Illustrations help you to visualize the project, giving direction and ideas. Full-size patterns to reproduce are included where needed.
