Learning to Spell through Copywork Book A
by Sandi Queen Author
The lessons in this book will give your beginning spelling student practice in the basic phonetic sounds as he reviews the spelling rule and copies over words that use that rule each week. After that, he copies a sentence each day of that week using words that follow that rule. At the end of the week, the child should be able to spell all of the words on that week's list orally without mistake. If not, spend another week on that list. Word lists get progressively more difficult as the book continues.
